We started the morning off at Helmstetters Curve watching a parade of Speeders / Track cars head west on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad.

We headed up to Frostburg and caught the Speeder group arriving at the Frostburg Dept.

1) As the group cleared the turntable and headed back east, we also went back to Cumberland to see what we could catch.

2) Q370 and Q316-05 (foreground) share a moment at Mexico Farms Tower.

3) Over the North Branch of the Potomac River... Q316-05 has pulled east to clear the lead in the Cumberland Yard before shoving their train into the yard.

1) Combined power from Q370 and Q316 pause at Mexico Farms Tower to reverse move to the shops as the Q217-06 heads west.

2) T315-05 eastbound coal drag at Mexico Farms Tower.

3) Western Maryland Scenic Railroad dinner Train heading west at Trimble Road crossing.

1) Back in Frostburg the boy gets a cab ride in WMSR GP30 #502 as they turn the locomotive and runaround their train... short ride but made his day.

2) and 3) "Red Sky at Night, Saliors Delight".......... #502 at Frostburg, MD

Nice photos again!    Is that last photo in North Branch?    We used to go there but it was back in the 90s and early 00's under the old Western Maryland bridge.   The location doesn't look familiar to me.   DTWilson Wrote:
