"Springtime in the Alleghenies ..... "

" ..... Comes later than down on the flatlands."  Here,  eastbound Amtrak P030 snakes down the east slope of CSX Sand Patch grade at Mance, PA around 9:40 am on April 17.  The hayfield in the foreground is in full green, but the trees, not so much.

​Sorry about the "video shakes".  Hand-held Galaxy S5 with some telephoto.
