Bill > Teasley The dreailment mentioned in the previous response was on the Norfolk Southern, and should not impact your trip between New Orleans and Jackson, MS. It may, however, affect the Birmingham to New Orleans portion of the trip, if you're taking that route. It is likely that CN is doing some work between New Orleans and Jackson due to the rainfall experienced this past week. Some locations along that portion of the CN received 15 inches of rain between Wednesday and Sunday. I suspect there are a lot of washouts along the line, especially south of McComb, MS. board for your answer. Uncle Joe Date: 05/12/19 19:51 Re: Mississippi annulment Author: mundo Tracks closed in/out of New Orlaens, flood gates closed, knee high water in parts of New Orleans.
Plus derailkments north and east of NOL. Date: 05/13/19 03:52 Re: Mississippi annulment Author: NSSpike > WAT Wrote:

The starting in Atlanta part of the original question is what I answered. The question was about the section NO to Jackson MS. My error Thanks VR to clearing that up!!! Phil Maton Villa Rica, GA |
