Beautiful Weather along the Delaware
Author: RiverLineProductions

It was a beautiful, 80-degree day out in eastern PA today, and NS put on a good show. Here is NS H76 as it crosses the Delaware River heading up the Portland Secondary...

Shot from Easton, PA, and the Train is entering Phillipsburg, NJ

Beautiful photo.

I believe the water in the foreground (dam/spillway) is the Lehigh River where it empties into the Delaware.  Note the locks on the far shore for the former canal system that followed the Delaware River downstream to New Hope and beyond.

Once upon a time the bridge the train is traveling belonged to the South Easton & Phillipsburg RR.  (bridge owner only)  For years this bridge was used by the Lehigh & Hudson River for travels to/from Allentown Yard on the Jersey Central.
