IL looking at a menu of tax increases, anything for rail?
Author: Lackawanna484

The Chicago Tribune reports that a 19 cents per gallon motor fuels tax increase is on the way, along with increases in other driver and vehicle fees.  The purpose is to fund construction of highways.  Is any of that going to rail projects like CREATE?

Hmm. Let's see how this works out for the average working guy: for every $1.00 employee earns, employee owes $1.50 in taxes. Just about sums up how Illinois works. Sure glad I left that tax happy state some thirty plus years ago.

Sorry, but Illinois places pretty much in the middle of the pack with respect to income and taxes.
