Eastern Railroad Discussion > Lehigh Line DoingsDate: 06/09/19 16:41 Lehigh Line Doings Author: overniteman Pretty quiet day on the CSAO Lehigh Line.
NS is doing tie work West of Port Reading Jct., so it was a CSX day. And although CSX was pretty quiet themselves, still managed to catch a few. Here's the front end of CSX Q409. GEVO ET44AH 3308 is solo as it sails West thru Piscataway, New Jersey. Date: 06/09/19 16:47 Re: Lehigh Line Doings Author: overniteman And what now is pretty much standard on Q409, the DPU was cut in about mid-train.
GEVO ES44AH 806 whines by. It seems these DPU's are working harder than the front end by the sound of them. Date: 06/09/19 16:54 Re: Lehigh Line Doings Author: overniteman However, the "star" of the day was this CSX crude oil train with a pair of BNSF units on the point.
ES44DC 7821 is payng New Jersey a short visit as it heads West. I didn't manage to catch a symbol on this one? Piscataway, New Jersey. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/09/19 17:08 by overniteman. Date: 06/09/19 16:58 Re: Lehigh Line Doings Author: overniteman And a better look at the K train.
There was alot of chatter on the scanner as Conrail had a busy grade crossing in South Plainfield, New Jersey with malfunctioning gates. The street was blocked off and police and traffic and all kinds of fun. |
