CSX 1776, CSX 911 & NS 911 all in one place
Author: railrider

On June 22, the North Carolina Transportation Museum held it's annual Fire Truck Festival.  Invited to the festivities were the CSX and NS units honoring first responders and the armed forces.  It was a geat show.  Here are some pics and a couple of short videos.  There was a night shoot on Friday evening which I did not attend.  Anyone have pics of this to share?

We will close with two short clips.  Note the POW-MIA graphic on the rear of 1776.

Thanks for posting. Looks like you were a few feet over from my left in the turntable shot, inside the roundhouse. The morning sunshine was much better than expected!

No need to post my cell phone shots now and the film won't be back for a few more days.

With all this great coverage I'm surprised more shots didn't include fire equipment.  But then, perhaps there's a special site for those enthusiasts.
Well done everybody.  Thanks for enduring the heat - again.

It would have been tough to get shots of the fire equipment as there too many people up close to it. Just getting locomotive shots without people standing in front of them required a bit of patience at times.
