Good Morning:

With the new Norfolk Southern Top 21 plan taking effect, how many trains arrive and depart the yard in Enola, PA? I had read somewhere that cars handles at Enola may actually increase under the new plan, but not sure what the source of the information was.

Also, is there an accurate list available showing the train symbol changes under the new plan?

Surprisingly, there doesn’t appear to be any changes to the road trains in and out of Enola Yard.

Thanks Andrew I think the list you provided includes changes recently made such as 16T/15T no longer terminating/originating in Allentown as well as 11J terminating in Enola. 33A was previously an Allentown train also. These are fairly recent adds to Enola as far as I know.

What about 23A? And 19G going into Enola is new.

That is correct.  However, the 11J, 15T, 16T, 33A changes happened before today’s “TOP21” plan rollout.

You missed 18N - racks in and out.

Also, the Steelton local - HO02 / HO23 / (and sometimes HO01) departs and arrives daily from the west end and crosses Rockville bridge then turns east to head to Steelton.  Sometimes does work at Harrisburg.
H53 - Northumberland - Enola turn.
H38 - Annville turn.
H95 - York turn.
H3? - Shiremanstown turn.
H19 - Lancaster turn.
