John Date: 07/04/19 07:42 Re: log truck caused NS derailment in Dodge County, GA Author: WM_1109 Now there's some truly awesome reporting...the first sentence in the article is "A truck driver was fatally injured Wednesday afternoon after a train derailed in Chauncey." As though a train just happened to derail and strike an innocent bystander standing (or parked) in the vicinity of the tracks. When according to the NS spokeswoman, "the log truck had stopped on the track and the train engineer sounded the horn, but couldn't stop in time. The train partially derailed after the crash."
Emphasis mine. -Ted Date: 07/04/19 14:51 Re: log truck caused NS derailment in Dodge County, GA Author: NormSchultze I was gonna make a comment abpout writing in Dixie, but decided not too.
