CSX 1776 and 911 in Baltimore today
Author: birdman

The CSX 1776 (Armed Forces locomotive) and the CSX 911 (Honoring First Responders locomotive) were at the B+O museum in Baltimore, MD today.  It is my understanding that they will be on display again tomorrow (July 13).

While you are there, and for all the rest of you visiting the museum, please look around in the front yard where you park and see all the locomotives and passenger cars that are rusting away including the American Freedom Steam Locomotive former Reading 2101 and all the B&O Passenger Cars, many now one-of-a-kind.  Very sad and the museum personnel do not care.  This is a crime.

No, it's an economic reality. The continual complaints by some about the management of the B&O Museum are bordering on, if not crossing into, the area known as defamation (which actually IS a crime).
