Ardent Mills Locomotive - Martin's Creek, PA
Author: birdman

I was on my way to work in Stroudsburg, PA today when  we passed the Ardent Mills locomotive shifting some cars at the junction with NS at Martin's Creek, PA.  A quick stop along the side of route 611 yielded a couple of photos.  The train is on former Lehigh and New England / Conrail trackage.

Ex BRC 562 SD38-3. Before that BN 7309 SD40G, MP 3088 SD40. Had a few other owners and numbers in between as well.

Is the grain mill up in Pocono Manor / Tobyhanna area still active?  They had an ex-Belt Railroad of Chicago unit for a while
