Some action today near m.p. 109 on the Pittsburgh Line
Author: mp109

Today after my doctor appointment my son and I got in a bit of "train watching" at Lucknow Road.
1.  As 23M moves up in the yard, HO-02 the Steelton train heads to Enola yard.
2.  HO-02 is lead by a "slug" no. 610 class RP-M4C.
3.  Train 15T has just pulled out of Enola yard and is heading to the Lurgan line.

4.  !5T had a mid train DPU. DPU's are becoming more common now on the NS.
5.  Train 21M one of the "hotter" inter-modals usually has three or so DC engines, but today it's running with two AC units.
6.  Train 16T heading to Enola today, has 5 AC engines in the lead.

7.  One of the engines on 16T was special; the first AC44C6M.
