NS 7686 leads the Canadian Connection Train 30T south towards Binghamton as it rounds the bend approaching Wells Bridge, NY south of Oneonta along Route 7. Wells Bridge was named for Caleb Wells and the highway bridge across the Susquehanna River in 1810. Route 7 was monikered in 1929 and the railroad arrived here in 1866. Edited 1 time(s). Thank you in advance. Date: 07/19/19 08:06 Re: Com'in Round the Bend - Wells Bridge, NY Author: aehouse I believe it was Portland, Maine, dating from the days when Guilford owned the MEC, B&M, and D&H.
When I worked that portion of the D&H (1970) our mileposts were calculated from Albany. Art House Date: 07/19/19 18:13 Re: Com'in Round the Bend - Wells Bridge, NY Author: NYSWSD70M aehouse Wrote:
