A busy day in D&HLand today !

1. NS 7540, 9151 & 9826 bring 23K down through Emmons, NY north of Oneonta.
2. Right behind is the 205 with NS 1074 the Lackawanna Heritage unit and NS 7611.
3. Chasing the 205 south we see him again at Otego.

4. A going away view at Otego.

5. Now catching back up to the 23K as he crosses the Route 41 overpass entering Afton.

6. And a few minutes behind is the 205 who will stop at the south end of the passing siding to let the 11R past as the 23K will be working Binghamton on the Buffalo Runner. What a way to spend a Sunday morning !

Jumping ahead we catch the 11R with NS 9360 & 3627 at Sanitaria Springs descending Belden Hill for Binghamton.

Later in the day the 16R comes north through Otego heading for Oneonta. Power is 9811, 2629 and 9498.

And at 5:50pm in the midst of a thunder and lightening storm is the 30T at Wells Bridge. NS 9562  is leading two other NS  units and two CP Rail units trailing - CP 8905 & CP 8609.

With thunder booming, lightening flashing, the local fire siren going off and the scene dark as hell the 30T passes Wells Bridge, NY with the two CP units trailing. CP 8609 & CP 8905.

No more trains until the midnight train 31T now, closing a good day along the old D&H.
