Eastern Railroad Discussion > Corman Sand TrainDate: 08/19/19 19:17 Corman Sand Train Author: srman Yesterday afternoon I sort of stumbled into a Corman move along River Rd. in Louisville Ky. Corman runs a sand train from Nugent Sand but I have no idea how often they run this train. I just got lucky.
Heading west along River Rd., turning under I-71 and finally as it negociates a parking lot in an entertainment area around Butchertown before it turns east onto CSX to get on its own rails. The train runs round trip, usually in the late evening/early morning. Durring the day the train is unloaded by excavator into dump trucks at Rupp Yard in Lexington, KY
