Eastern Railroad Discussion > Weekend Freight Activity between Ayer and Wachusett

On weekends, how often do freights run on the Fitchburg Line between Wachusett and Ayer and vice versa? I know a few weeks ago, I mentioned that I would like to go railfan the Fitchburg Line on a weekday which I am still considering. I am also considering doing that on one of the weekend days so that way, I can take advantage of the weekend 10 dollar rail pass on one of the longer MBTA commuter rail routes. I will have time to railfan part of the pm rush hour at other locations closer to Boston. Thanks.
