It's #4 son's Birthday, so he's calling the shots.... start off with breakfast at "CP Roys"... local Roy Rogers Restaurant....
Arriving in Cumberland we hear BB getting the run down from a G089 Grain Train. .... breakfast will have to wait.

1) Quick stop at the Cumberland, MD Amtrak station to catch G089-06 heading west.

2) G089-06 westbound at Rock Cut Rd. near Corriganville, MD.

3) Couple of "Green" Burlington Northern grain hoppers...

Heading back to Cumberland, Q316 comes off the Mountain Sub.... The now 8 yr. old is hungry.. we can catch 316 another day....

1) After breakfast, we catch Q276-05 arriving at the Safety Stop to swap out crews.

2) With new crew on board we catch Q276-05 eastbound at North Branch outside Cumberland.

3) Q276-05 DPU heading east at North Branch.

1) While still at North Branch, Q137-06 shows up westbound.

2) Q137-06 pulls into the receiving yard at Cumberland to make their set off.

3) N785-05 eastbound at the "Blue Room" by the Hump...

1) N785-05 DPU pair at the "Blue Room".

2) We catch Q349-07 at Rock Cut Rd. The would be held at Hyndman, PA for Amtrak and crossover once the P030 had passed. We were hoping to catch the meet at Hyndman... 

3) DPU on the rear of Q349-07 at Rock Cut Rd.

1) We got to Hyndman, PA the same time as P030-07..... just enough time to park, get out, and shoot.... Not the best but we caught him.

2) On our way back to Cumberland, we hear the engineer on Amtrak calling BB requesting law enforcement meet them in Cumberland to remove a passenger from the train. Figuring that request will delay things, we make a drive thru pit stop at CP Roys to grab lunch.

We end up catching P030-07 passing the Q217-07 at North Branch.

3) DPU on the rear of Q217-07 (right) as the D720-07 (left) comes out of the Cumberland yard at the start of their eastbound trip.

1) Our last shot at Cumberland before heading home..... D720-07 eastbound at North Branch.

2) Saturday was also the 4th. Annual "Convoy for Kids" a day long event to raise money for and awareness of childhood cancer. Part of the events is a convoy from Westernport, MD to New Creek, WV to Frostburg, MD and back to Westernport. This year over 200 vehicles from Motorcycles to SUV, to big rigs took part of the show and convoy.... an just like every year since, we have set and taken photos of every truck and most of the SUV's and Motorcycles. We post them in a album that anyone can access and share..
