Eastern Railroad Discussion > The People and Barns Of Rural OhioDate: 10/31/19 09:39 The People and Barns Of Rural Ohio Author: Ohiorailfan This past Sunday I followed the Ohio Rail Experience Lima Limited from Quincy to Springfield with the NKP GP30 #901 and CRR F3A #800. Along the way we got a few good shots including a couple that stood out to me. The first being at Quincy. The train had not yet activated the gates and a red jeep pulled up and saw the headlights and just stopped. He remained stopped while the crossing gate landed on his vehicle and the train passed by. Not every day people add a unique photo prop. A few miles south of Quincy I spotted a barn that was perfectly positioned with the train as it passed. Thus the shot of the 800 with the barn. Enjoy!
