11/2/19  A westbound CSXT stacker (015) grinds out the last two miles of the eastern slope of Sandpatch at Mance, PA.  It's 24 degrees and the onset of winter is but a few weeks away.  The single unit DP "helper" in the middle will be a benefit for air supply as the temperatures drop.  The 1-1 locomotive setup is calculated to handle the 1.94 grade from Mance to the summit.
