Eastern Railroad Discussion > Ship and Train at Port Huron Ship CamDate: 11/26/19 01:53 Ship and Train at Port Huron Ship Cam Author: JPB Snagged from the Port Huron Ship Cam at about 4:30pm Monday 11/25/19: as 76 year old down-bound Maritimer-class laker Cuyahoga is about to enter the St Clair River at the south end of Lake Huron, a switcher works Dunn Paper at Port Huron. I think the line that services Dunn Paper is a CN spur but the switcher doesn't look CN to me - maybe someone can set the record straight? Cuyahoga is apparently the 2ndĀ oldest Canadian registered lake boat still in active service on the Great Lakes.

It shows up often on that cam. As for the Cuyahoga, it is indeed the 2nd oldest Canadian flagged lake boat, built in 1943 at Lorain, Ohio. The Mississagi is number one but might be retired at the end of this season.
