Now that the Arc furnance in Mingo Jct has been open for about a year has rail traffic to the mill picked up?

Short answer is I really don't know. More extensive answer is there is a new siding at a 90 degree angle to the mill which is new but I've not seen any cars on same.

NS has been doing extensive rebuilding of their nearby Mingo Junction Yard and it is not clear if they're just relocating tracks or expanding. With most coal traffic gone any expansion would presumably be in anticipation of a huge Ethane Cracker Plant being built south of Wheeling, WV in Ohio on the NS line to Powhatan Point, Ohio. No final decision has been made on the plant despite extensive earthwork at the site and demolition of a power plant which was located there.

So, new track but it is hard to tell if this represents expansion or just rebuilding.
