In Augusta, GA visiting in-laws.  Since probably will not be playing at Augusta National :-) wonder what are the railroad fanning opportunities?

NS running down the street in downtown for one.

Mornings are best if you can excuse yourself.

CSX has a pretty decent sized yard along Laney Walker Blvd as well.

How about Aiken RR across the state line?  Haven't been there but understand the station is a museum with a train diaorama inside and a couple pieces of rolling stock outside.

Lousy weather pretty much restricted my poking around town looking at trains.  Hope to get back when weather is better.
There is a great looking Georgia Railroad Mikado in the museum. 
Looking at the CSX system map the track layout looks pretty convoluted.  Could not figure out what went where.
