Foggy Shoot - Upstate New York

Lots of fog and lots of rain.

1. NS 1010, 1211 and unk at Brooker Hollow after a pull up Richmondville Hill with Train 205. A friendly wave from the cab and they are down the valley  heading to Binghamton.

2. Right behind them was the 30T which didn't have such a nice trip as apparently there was a problem with the 2nd unit (perhaps due to major NS cuts in the mechanical department?) and they stalled at Podpadic Road between Cobleskill and Richmondville trying to ascend Richmondville Hill. PSR ! They eventually doubled to Richmondville siding and got an engine off trailing 11R.  No doubt a fun time for the Conductor of 30T. Power was NS 9670 and the troublesome 9748.

3. No, this is not the Pacific Northwest but the Mohawk Valley of Upstate New York ! Amtrak 124 and 145 are the power on a 14 car Train 48, the "Lake Shore Limited".

4. Fog rolls in heavy at Hoffmans NY as eastbound Q264 autos with CSX 5351 rolls through ready to line onto the Mohawk River bridge.

5. A short time later an unidentified westbound pulls through South Schenectady with CSX 3302 as the mid-afternoon light and fog turns into a soupy gloom ending photos for the day.
