Oneonta, NY got quite a bit of winter weather today and it hindered any chase, and then of course almost total darkness by 4:30 pm.

1. NS 11R is exposed to winter's fury as it arrives in Oneonta, NY this afternoon. Power is NS 9948, 9843 and Pan Am 3402.

2. Passing by the D&H Oneonta depot, long closed for railroad use. It was until recently an Italian Restaurant but now closed and empty in that capacity.

3. The very last useable light of the day - 4:30 pm- the 30T comes through with three unidentified units. The snow is more sleety than earlier and it's coming down and icing pretty good. Time to get home and warm up. 30T met 16R at Afton and as of 5:55 pm the 16R was making tracks through Wells Bridge heading towards Oneonta.
