Author: EL833 A visit to Conneaut, Ohio today after photographing some LLT boats sitting out the winter in Ashtabula netted a trio of Illinois Central SD70's on the southbound Canadian National Bessemer Sub ore train. Gave it a small chase. The first photo is departing Conneaut under the NS bridge. The last two are at Albion and Conneautville, Pa respectively. Considering the IC was purchased by the Canadian National in early 1998 with it's operations integrated in 1999, seeing a trio of IC units still in IC colors in 2020 is pretty neat. I did notice the trailing unit has had a CN logo applied to the rear. For the number folks- 1028, 1038, 1022.
