Author: DTWilson

Before heading back to the house after picking up much needed supplies for the boy and the dogs, we took in a little rail-fanning...

1) Q316-09 descending 17-Mile Grade, eastbound at the Crabtree grade crossing across from the Savage River dam.

2) Little further down the grade at Bloomington, MD

1) Q316 power at Keyser, WV as they prepare to make their pick-up off the freight track in the far left background.

2) Waiting to go to "The Park" .... B875-10 waits in the east yard at Keyser for the Q316-09 to depart. The B875 has 3 loads for the local plastic bag manufacture in the Keyser Industrial Park.

3) Q316-09 passing thru the yard as they depart Keyser, WV with 98 cars. Their pick up in Keyser was 34 cars.. It should be noted that units #139, #280, and #81 were dead in tow with their stacks capped.

1) B875 shoving east towards the Keyser Indusrial Park.

2) B875-10 working the park....

3) Spotting the loads in the proper order for the customer. The simple unloading facility is in the foreground....

Thank you for stopping by.

How is "Keyser" pronounced; KEE-ser, KAY-ser, or KYE-ser?

Containers are marked USMX, my guess would be the Marines.
