C42 Working Lewistown Yard

Here is C42 putting their train together today @ Lewistown Yard. He departed West for Altoona with 23 cars.

Anyone notice the web height of the rail in the foreground siding?  It's welded, but it looks like 140-lb or maybe higher.  Big stuff, IMO anyway

Gage; which local serves Mifflin now? C42 used to run further east before turning back to Altoona but; I see now it’s listed as a Rose Yard / Lewistown turn.

Last I heard, C42 was still running to Mifflintown, but only on Saturday, in addition to it’s Lewistown duties.

C42 normally works Mifflin on Thursday. (Can't work Mifflintown though as there never was a railroad bridge across the Juniata River at that location.)
