20K with NS 1800 leading
Author: Pattenburg

It was only the geese, their seven goslings and me waiting for NS's 20K to cross over the south branch of the Raritan River with NS 1800 leading in Neshanic Station (NJ).  Around 12:43 was when NS 1800 crossed over heading east with its consist. On this day though there were no swimmers, sunbathers or canoeists present in the river like there was on Saturday and Sunday when the weather was definitely better for me to watch and pass time while waiting!

One hour before Pattenburg's photo and of course the sun came out briefly once the train passed.

Nice shots all, of an interesting subject and despite the gray skies today.

The 1800 is looking a little weathered but matches the gray day nicely.
