Eastern Railroad Discussion > Illinois Terminal Unit on the Lower Harrisburg Line TodayDate: 05/21/20 12:42 Illinois Terminal Unit on the Lower Harrisburg Line Today Author: eastpenn23 A worn out NS 1072 led 66J down the Harrisburg Line today in great weather. First seen at Royersford and then at Abrams yard. The IT unit looks like it's puffing steam in photo 3, but the "cloud" comes from the nuclear power plant in Limerick.

AC's and DC's still get mixed plenty in all services, even unit trains. There's just a lot more AC units now so getting a matched set is a lot more likely. Now if i could just find a way to defy stay at home orders...... nick Date: 05/22/20 15:54 Re: Illinois Terminal Unit on the Lower Harrisburg Line Today Author: dschlegel Nice catches! The first time I saw this unit it was sitting on the quarry lead by itself in Birdsboro about 7 years ago. It was the first time I caught two of NS’s heritage u it’s in one day as I drove over the south mountain in time to catch the Trading unit also!
