Ex-NS SD80MAC’s on the move again
Author: florida581

It looks like the 10 SD80MAC’s (bought by Progress Rail), that ran to Chattanooga last week on NS 171, are now being sent to Roanoke in groups.

7201 - 126-26
7203 - Chattanooga, TN
7204 - M26-26
7207 - Chattanooga, TN
7208 - 126-27
7210 - Chattanooga, TN
7211 - M26-26
7212 - 126-27
7216 - 126-27
7220 - 126-26

(note: 126 / M26 are Chattanooga - Roanoke manifests)

What a roundabout way to go or get to Roanoke. I saw them last Saturday in Cincinnati.

Are there no manifests left between Harriman Jct. and John Sevier?

The only scheduled trains remaining are 22A and 23G.  However, they usually have a manifest block tacked on them.
