NS is donating ex Con SD60i unit 2020 to Penn States Altoona campus Railroad Engineering department.     Not the first time they have been given a locomotive. PRR used to do that periodically.          The unit will be painted into PennState colors in an as yet determined paint scheme.   There is a contest going on for the design.     Curry rail service currently has the unit instorage at Holidaysburg and will paint it fo free as thier donation.   When you consider the procetag for a paint job, that is no small donation.

At least you know it will be in a Blue & White paint scheme of some type.

NS should donate an Engine to Altoona Train Museum. NS Railroad does nothing for the Train Museum in Altoona??

 Train Museum could get rid of some Junk Railroad Cars in the Yard and fresh Stuff in the Yard then??

NBER doesn't go to State College.  The former Bellefonte Central branch into town has been abandoned for decades.

GOOD LUCK with that.....

NS will do nothing for the Altoona Museum as long as a certain VP who was thrown off their board remains in office. And BTW, the "junk" in their yard consists mainly of historically important pieces; they were allowed to deteriorate over the years due to their now-departed Executive Director's lack of concern.
