Every once in a while, there's rumors that the building will be rebuilt with a news stand and other goodies, but nothing ever comes of it.

New Jersey Transit's Bound Brook, NJ stop needs a huge makeover. It's that bad.

What are they building across the tracks where the old LV freight house used to be?

Over on the ex-CNJ mainline which sees New Jersey Transit's Raritan Valley trains things must be bad.

During the short time I was there, NJT cancelled three trains (both East & West). Needless to say, prospective riders were not happy.

Here, a dual mode unit brings a 7 car Westbound into Bound Brook.

Didn't catch the symbol on this CSX job. It was half Tropicana empties and half garbage loads.

It'll make a left at Port Reading junction and head for Philly, smelly and all!

The crew AC44CW 583 gave me a shave and a haircut horn salute. Been awhile since I heard one of these.

Also, Bound Brook, New Jersey.

Parking garage that's going up real slow.

My Dad would bring my brothers and I (and sometimes our sister  too) to Bound Brook frequently in the early 70's.  I remember cold days keeping warm in that well heated waiting room.  Those were pre scanner days so someone had to pop out every 5 minutes or so to look for headlights especially on the Lehigh Valley
