2) G070 on the Scale Track at Green Spring, WV. 3) Riding the Shove... The Conductor rides the last car as they shove the train up and over the hill into the small SBVR yard at Green Spring, WV ..... The SBVR normally splits the loads into two trains with 3 units leading and two units manned on the rear... NO DPU's here.
The loads will start to go south to the feed mill in Moorefield, WV on Monday. 2) and 3) The Conductor has to walk the length of the train splitting the train to clear the 3 road crossings in town... .... They do a lot more business than most folks realize and of course all of us who love the B&O love the SBV and their collection of locomotives.
