Eastern Railroad Discussion > Conrail Shared Assets Lehigh Line meetDate: 09/09/20 18:11 Conrail Shared Assets Lehigh Line meet Author: OCtrainguy On the morning of July 25th, a much hoped for CSX empty oil train made its way east on the Conrail Shared Assets Lehigh Line with a BNSF SD75I leading another BNSF engine. A group of railfans was in Piscataway, NJ shooting the breeze as we awaited the train's approach. As the CSX train sounded its horn, we heard another horn respond. And no, it wasn't an echo. It was a westbound train. Shortly after the head end of the CSX train passed, NS intermodal train 21M flew by. When the second track was put back in between CP Bound Brook and CP Potter (Edison), this was the reason why, to keep the trains moving. Hope you enjoy!
