Eastern Railroad Discussion > Skyline...and some history/Cleveland, Ohio.Date: 10/12/20 21:38 Skyline...and some history/Cleveland, Ohio. Author: Forever-Railfan-45 Started twelve days in a row today; overtime only reason why as I have a copay to pitch in for as MRI is this upcoming Friday. First two pictures are of NS 22K gliding on the former NKP in Cleveland, Ohio. At one point in time I believe the B&O, Erie and NKP all traveled thru here back in the day. Just above the NS 1067 in the first picture one can see the RTA. Number three is of CP Murph out by Sebring, Ohio...taken back on October 10, 2020...

Author: Forever-Railfan-45 Number four and five are of the NS 688 going past the former Amtrak Station, last used 1991, in Canton, Ohio. Coal trains are a very rare occurrence and now on the Fort Wayne Line. Thanks for looking...

I spent a lot of time riding trains along there and down in what was the trainshed in Terminal Tower that has since become only a transit station, imagining what it must have been like when all that empty alignment was real railroad and Terminal Tower was a bustling station. I found a book about it, but it isn't very good.
