A Twelve Pack At Austell

Thought I'd never see this many in these days of PSR in a 4 hour period.  Five years ago for sure. Arrived in Austell Georgia around 8:30am on Tuesday morning and departed at 12:30pm.  

The line up:

Phil:

Traffic levels on NS do seem to have rebounded. They are still recruiting conductor trainees in the Atlanta area.

A roller coaster it is. Most pics in this series at 135mm a few less then that.
#1. Here is one maxed out at 135mm of the coal drag but the engine heat blurs the shot. Taken west side of the tracks

#2. Second photo here better shows the "roller coaster" taken in June from the east side of the tracks.

Half a dozen trains coming off the North Atlanta District, in favorable light! Nice job Phil.

I never seem to have that much activity in such a short time period (unless it's against the sun).
