Milepost 142 Fall stay; Day 1

2 day midweek stay at Paul Withers' MP142 cabins @ Thompsontown, PA.
Wednesday started with a 90 min. wait for fog to burn off at Aqueduct, PA. just west of Duncannon.
Moving west to Newport, EB Amtrak #42 and westbound coal empties showed up just as skies cleared.

The old well at Newport has been nicely refurbished, although it is non-operable.
Westbound intermodal roars past MP142 cabin site, just west of Thompsontown.
Tattered Lackwanna heritage unit on westbound @ old CP Mexico; MP 148.7

Westbound Amtrak #43 @ Book's Crossing, old CP Mexico, Tuscarora, PA.
Westbound intermodal @ same place with trailer frame loads up front.
Finally, OCS 956 westbound, along with a 3-second puffy cloud.
