Neat shots! I guess the new station at Tyrone means the classic egg shaped pay phone cover is gone, too bad. I remember seeing that pay phone from the westbound Broadway Limited in June of 1989 and thinking it was peculiar.
Thanks!

Why don't Amtrak use that New Station at Tyrone they build 10 years ago??

Amtrak did not build it...It is a museum for a local historical society....Davs W.

Really like that shot of the exposed cut along track 1 at Cassandra;  curious:  with the slide fence temporarily removed, along with the protection it provided, is there a speed restriction on track 1 ?

And, is the fence on the track 3 side slated for replacement also ?

I do not know if a speed restriction is in place or not....I do not believe there is.....I was only there briefly on Sunday and when I was there a couple weeks ago, traffic ran normally on 1.

As far as the other rockcuts, I can only assume that they will receive the same renovations.....There is another set of slide fences at the West end of the rockcuts as well....Dave W.

Dave,

Any additional info on those doublestack trash containers from 34A? Cannot say I've seen those before.
