Bellevue, OH loco & car shop closing

heard today that NS is closing it's bellevue loco and car shop, told guys bellvue is to far off the mainline and moving more switching out of the yard.

Presently NS has a Mechanical Dept. manager opening at Bellevue, so I doubt it will close completly and the workers was cut way back in both departments needless to say.

There was a rumor going around of massive layoffs at Juniata or it being sold to Progress Rail.   Would say no way that would happen but with what NS is doing now who knows.   Would never thought Bellevue would be downgraded as much as it has after all the money spent to expand it this quickly.
