Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX and SEPTA fill the (railfan) gap left by Amtrak on the NECDate: 10/27/20 17:20 CSX and SEPTA fill the (railfan) gap left by Amtrak on the NEC Author: Mgoldman Lucky evening catch on the Northeast Corridor at Croydon, PA, north of Philly, captured
on October 15th, 2020. A light engine move with CSX GP40-2 No. 6212 traveling south- bound as a lightly patronized set of SEPTA Silverliners picks up speed, bound for Bristol, PA. Though the number of Amtrak trains is significantly down, you can still catch a cluster of trains when timed right. Lining shots up at sunset has gotten much trickier. /Mitch Date: 10/28/20 04:44 Re: CSX and SEPTA fill the (railfan) gap left by Amtrak on the NE Author: jmbreitigan Nice light. Looking at the yellow stripe on the plow reminds me of a smiley face with the ditch lights as eyes.

Even a little break of sunlight, which has been limited recently. Haven't seen enough of your good stuff recently. Keep it coming.
