Eastern Railroad Discussion > Accident in Atlanta?Date: 11/15/20 19:23 Accident in Atlanta? Author: tuxedorailfan Don't have much info, but supposedly a yard job ran into the rear of NS 265 in Atlanta. Looks to be like an SD60e on it's side. The foamer reports are saying the conductor is in critical condition. Anyone else hearing anything?

Author: jcoons The Parrott crossing is still closed to vehicle traffic, and NS6997 and the associated derailed care are still on site. They are beginning to break up the boxcar that’s lying to the west of the crossing. Track1/2 signal tower has been reinstalled as has the grade crossing signals. This has to be a continued noticeable impact on NS traffic to/through Atlanta.
