Snow Train in Illinois
Author: mtzctrain

Last week, on January 3rd, Decatur IL got an unexpected 8" of snow dumped on us, after getting close to 1/4" of ice the days prior. Sunday morning, while clearing the drive, I caught the Decatur & Eastern Illinois road train leaving Decatur in the snow with a usual two locomotives and 31 cars.

Looks and sounds great. Beautiful scene too. Appears the lead loco lost a ditch light.
