Cleveland & Eastern Interurban Line at Rookery Park in Ohio
Author: cornerfieldhobby

Today I went to The Rookery park out in Geauga County east of Chesterland Ohio, which is part of the Geauga Park District. The park has a trail which was where the C&E Cleveland & Eastern Interurban used to run from 1899 to 1925. Along the trail, there is a spot where it was called The Junction. At that spot they have a small covered shelter with images and writeup's. Very very cool!!! Even on the ground in the middle, you can see the original rail they put. The covered bridge is actually placed on top the original Interurban bridge. I put the last couple photos showing while their, how many Turtles were in the Swamps!!

Thank you to everyone who has replied.

Side note, if you decided to come, come later this year when we reopen our place Corner Field Model Railroad Museum & Trading Post Train Shop, which is 10+ miles east of this park and see the Largest Family Owned Model Railroad in the United States. Museum layout is 32' x 145'. Get to have an adventure by going to the Park and seeing our place as well!!!
