Here's a Good Friday capture of INRD's SAHW train crossing Richland Creek in Greene County, IN. The train was photo-bombed by another railfan's dog though, lol! Every time I visit the Tulip Trestle I am amazed by this structure hidden away in a Southern Indiana hollar.

Simply excellent-- the dog makes that first photo and is my vote for IOTD!   O Winston Link had the "hound of Husk" in one of his old N&W steam recordings, and also had dogs ( and cats!) in several of his photos, too.
I've been over that trestle on an Iowa Pacific specail years ago-- was quite spectacular!

Wow! I had no idea Indiana had any places trestles like this! The dog is a nice addition too!

There are two of them actually. There is another one just north of Bloomington on this line. It is considerably smaller by comparison but follows the same design and is certainly no less impressive.
In my opinion it's more scenic than this one since it takes the train over a lake.

If I had to pick an IOTD, It would be #3 despite the lack of a train. Excellent framing and use of available light!

There are two more on the former B&O across southern Indian. One in Osgood and the other in Nebraska.

Excellent trio. Did you lay on your back to frame photo #3 ?
