Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS W series of trainsDate: 04/20/21 09:46 NS W series of trains Author: rhotond NS has a simple train numbering series with locals , system wide, regionals etc. Lately I have been seeing a W series (W9G and W3>) through Altoona. It almost seems that these trains are the combination of two trains most often with a DPU set separating them. Does any body know what these trains are and any listing that includes them
