Friday's NRFF is down to 15 MPH, as they tackle the 1.5% grade @ East Mahanoy Junction in Barnesville, PA. They're heading for Pittston & they were 39 X 2 out of North Reading.

Correct. Dispatchers and train crews will often use that particular shorthand when giving the car count.
