April 30th was last day NICTD stopping at old 11th Street Station.  Of course station has not been in use for some time and actual station is small shelter.
There was a good group of people around, several took the last WB train.  Afterwards I waited for a South Shore freight WB.

A couple guys set up at the station with their flash units.  I shoot existing light so I stood with them in a line. 
My camera was set for non flash and was not synched with their flash.

Reviewing shots later I was surprised to find an over exposed shot that had overlapped their flash.  Since I underexpose I was able to "save" the flash shot.
I was shooting at fast continuous which still only get 5-7 fps at 160th so thing the odds were like 5%? assuming even  I was shooting at same frame.

1) flash version
2) non flash - 1 frame prior
3) Going away shot.

That's really nice stuff! Love the middle non-flash version.

I like all of them. Wasn't aware CSS had this second hand power.

I was in Michigan City earlier in the night for the last westbound train to stop. The guys with flash units set up shortly after that train passed. I was taking some "natural light" photos from Pine St and managed to catch their flash ... and I wasn't shooting multiple frames.
