Amtrak Across the Mohawk

Amtrak Train 284 crosses the Mohawk River into Schenectady, NY and will soon make it's station stop.
Power was Amtrak 705.

A nice way to spend some quiet time on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Upstate New York.

That's a great shot with a really nice looking consist.
I think if they used the black face phase III paint when those units were new, I might not have hatted them so much. Paint style make such a big difference, such as none are more attractive them the New Haven paint jobs
