Mike Ondecker Photos - 1967
Author: refarkas

My late friend Mike Ondecker was a railfan without a camera. Actually in 1967 he used an Instamatic, and in 1968 he used his aunt's nearly thirty year old 120 roll film camera. I don't think he took another railroad photo after that. Instead he helped me as good friend, driver, and person who got photographic permission.
Here are six of his Instamatic photos taken as far as I can tell in EL's yard in Marion, Ohio in 1967.
Photo one: Damaged Rock Island 25882.
Photo two: Damaged UP caboose.
Photos three through six: Yard scenes.

I wonder where the last 3 photos were shot from?  Mike is elevated maybe in AC tower?
But AC  is not that close to the yard.
