First known train in over four years on this segment. The engine is a GP40-2

Any idea what's up in Lordstown? What's left of the CL&W to Cleveland and Lorain? How about traffic, anything moving? Cheers! The Willard locals and thru trains were taken off about four years ago.

I recall seeing a plastics plant right near the Ohio Turnpike but its siding went dark years ago. Date: 09/10/21 14:25 Re: Special run on CL&W sub Lester-Sterling Ohio Author: MEKoch Very odd. CSX operates nothing on this segment of track for three plus years, and then sends a single train down on its way to Lordstown They would have had to do inspections of crossing signals, bridges, and the track. That has to be expensive and time consuming. Why not just send the train up to Parma; move on to the mainline; go west to Willard; and then reverse to Lordstown.
